I’m Not A Vegetarian, but I Could Play One On TV!

10 Jan

I hate meat!!!!

Not necessarily the way it tastes, cause I will chow down on a steak, some grilled chickee or a little  piglet,  but I DESPISE the way raw meat looks and smells. It really takes all I have to look at it, buy it, touch it and cook it without throwing up.  I totally could be a vegetarian, but I don’t like to be limited on my food choices.

I got turned onto Spicy Black Bean Burgers a couple of months ago and now I’m hooked.  All you carnivores out there, don’t be scared of the term “veggie burger”. These things are good for ya and they taste just like meat but without the bloody, sticky, smelly component..yuck!

Tasty, easy, low calorie, low fat, not gross and keep you full for a long time…my work here is done.

If you would like me to play a vegetarian on TV, please contact my agent.

Yep. I always avoided veggie burgers. I never really tried any because I would talk myself into going to McDonalds before I’d buy them. A few months ago my girls did a news segment for Olivewood Gardens. There was a chef there who made the most amazing veggie burgers. I mean…uh-mazing. They were almost a,purplish color bc the main veggie was eggplant, but omg even my kids ate them. And to top it off he made his own mustard. Veggie burgers in champagne mustard. To die for.

Oh, man… I bet those burgers would kick my Black Bean burgers butt, LOL! Champagne mustard sounds like something I need to try and make, love my mustard!
